Unbelievable. Dispicable Display of Journalists on TEA Demonstrations

So much for professionalism.

It is estimated that there were likely 750,000 people in attendance at hundreds of demonstrations around the country on April 15th. But instead of reporting the news, fear and “frat boy humor” was employed by the elitist media. Apparently the “main stream” and leftist media hasn’t realized that this is why they are losing so much market share and money. Perhaps they are waiting for the federal government to bail them out.

In the meantime, they have managed to alienate even more regular Americans. Just a thought to you elitists in the media: many of these demonstrations happened after work hours – but even so, most ‘regular’ Americans have children and commitments that they must attend to, they aren’t inclined to demonstrating. Just think about how many sympathetic to the TEA Parties were at home listening to your drivel.

Oh that’s right, not many. You have no market share…

Number of NSA Intercepts Pass Limits Set By Congress

***Update:
The very last three paragraphs of the NYT Article:

And in one previously undisclosed episode, the N.S.A. tried to wiretap a member of Congress without a warrant, an intelligence official with direct knowledge of the matter said.

The agency believed that the congressman, whose identity could not be determined, was in contact — as part of a Congressional delegation to the Middle East in 2005 or 2006 — with an extremist who had possible terrorist ties and was already under surveillance, the official said. The agency then sought to eavesdrop on the congressman’s conversations, the official said.

The official said the plan was ultimately blocked because of concerns from some intelligence officials about using the N.S.A., without court oversight, to spy on a member of Congress.

Of course it wasn’t intentional?! The Obama administration doesn’t mean it! I mean “Come On!”

Several intelligence officials, as well as lawyers briefed about the matter, said the N.S.A. had been engaged in “overcollection” of domestic communications of Americans. They described the practice as significant and systemic, although one official said it was believed to have been unintentional.

So are these collections of conversations/messages between citizens and suspected Al-Qaeda terrorists (I mean, disaffected individuals creating man-made disasters)?

NJ Pensions Not Fully Funded: Down to 72.6%

For all those banking on the “state” to take care of us…

The state has less money than it owes for anticipated pension obligations because of investment losses earlier this decade, a lowering of the retirement eligibility age and a failure by past governors to make annual contributions. The value of the pension system’s assets dropped to $56.3 billion as of February, from more than $82 billion as of June 2007, after losses on investments.

Obama to Georgetown: Cover Up Jesus

When Pres. Obama gave his speech at Georgetown University (the Jesuit Catholic University), the White House asked that the name of Jesus (in the latin monogram “IHS”) be covered up as well as all signs and symbols there. Hm. The White House has said that the monogram would seem out of context with the backdrop they wanted.

But he did quote the Sermon on the Mount in his speech. See my other post.
